The small black house ant and the small brown coastal ants can invade and saturate your back yard and patio, signs are small sand mounds. Beneath each group of mounds will be a reproductive queen laying more eggs. At the point of outside saturation the ants can move into the walls of your house and make nests anywhere in side the house.
